Explanation: The above seven images have been run through a visual sythesizer called Coagula Lite v1.6. Coagula interprets the visual data and converts it into sound. I have used this technology to record aurally the process of creating a painting. The two .wav files listed above were created by joining the sounds end to end from left to right. I then modified the results with other software (ACID XPress 5.0, WaveLab Lite v2.01, Windows Sound Recorder) to further explore the qualities and characteristics of the sounds generated by Coagula.
